Resumo: O presente ensaio enfatiza as características das paisagens relacionadas à vegetação em três compartimentações geomorfológicas do Vale do Acaraú, priorizando uma área de maciço residual úmido (Monsenhor Tabosa); uma área na superfície sertaneja (Varjota) e, por fim, uma área nos tabuleiros litorâneos (Morrinhos).
