Resumo: | Located in the south of the state of Amapá, the urban area of Laranjal do Jari city had its expansion marked by the absence of planning, which directly reflects on the current configuration of its occupation. The present study proposes a historical analysis, chronologically punctuating the moments when the implementation of big ventures in the region started, in order to better understand the ways of use and occupation established in that place, since the 1970s, with the emergence of a population nucleus, until nowadays. For this, in addition to collecting historical data on the urban evolution of Laranjal do Jari, a fieldwork was carried out in order to illustrate the current scenario of urban occupation, which happens in two hydrogeomorphically distinct areas: the Dissected Plateau and the Jari’s river Flood Plain. |

Se entiende que un análisis histórico, puntuando cronológicamente los momentos en que se produjo la implantación de grandes emprendimientos en la región, justifica las formas de uso y ocupación que se establecieron en ese lugar, a partir de la década de 1970, cuando surge el núcleo poblacional, hasta la actualidad. Para ello, además de recopilar datos históricos sobre la evolución urbanística del municipio, se realizó un trabajo de campo con el fin de ilustrar el escenario actual de ocupación urbana, que se da en dos áreas hidrogeomórficamente distintas: la Meseta Disectada y la Llanura de Inundación del Jari río.Située dans la partie sud de l'État d'Amapá, la zone urbaine de la municipalité de Laranjal do Jari a connu son expansion marquée par l'absence de planification, ce qui reflète directement la configuration actuelle de l'occupation de la municipalité. Il est entendu qu'une analyse historique, ponctuant chronologiquement les moments où il y a eu l'implantation de grandes entreprises dans la région, justifie les formes d'utilisation et d'occupation qui se sont établies à cet endroit, depuis les années 1970, lorsque l'émergence d'un noyau de population , jusqu'à nos jours. Pour cela, en plus de collecter des données historiques sur l'évolution urbaine de la commune, un travail de terrain a été réalisé afin d'illustrer le scénario actuel d'occupation urbaine, qui se produit dans deux zones hydrogéomorphiquement distinctes : le Plateau Disséqué et la Plaine Inondable du Jari fleuve.Localizada ao sul do estado do Amapá, a área urbana do município de Laranjal do Jari teve sua expansão marcada pela ausência de planejamento, o que reflete diretamente na configuração atual de ocupação na cidade. Entende-se que uma análise histórica, pontuando cronologicamente os momentos em que houve a implantação de grandes empreendimentos na região, justifique as formas de uso e ocupação que se estabeleceram naquele local desde a década de 1970, quando surgiu um núcleo populacional, até os dias atuais.
