GEOMORPHOLOGICAL COMPARTMENTALIZATION OF THE EXOKARST OF NATIVIDADE AND CHAPADA DA NATIVIDADE – TO

Resumo: The southeast of Tocantins is characterized, among other geographic aspects, by the well-developed karst, which motivated the realization of the geomorphological compartmentalization of the karst relief located in Natividade and Chapada da Natividade municipalities. In this sense, this study aimed to consider the influence of endogenous and exogenous factors in the landscape configuration. At the same time, each portion of the relief was defined. For this purpose, with the aid of images from the ALOS/Palsar, Sentinel 2A satellites and the topographic chart (SC.23-Y-C-IV), maps were made of the local drainage network, altimetry, slope, as well as the elaboration of topographic profiles and diagram block, for better detail of the exokarst. The Avenza Maps software and points on Google Earth Pro made navigation on fieldworks faster and objective. Then, the area was divided into three compartments: Compartment of Non-Carbonatic Metassedimentary Plateaus (PMNC), Carbonate Plateaus Compartment (CPC) and Surfaces with Sinkholes Occurrence (SCOD). The work also resulted in the creation of an exploratory map of karst phenomena on a semi-detail scale (1:50,000). Thus, the work can contribute to the development of environmental policies and serve as reference for new research, assisting in producing detailed knowledge of karst in the studied region.

En ce sens, cet article visait à faire des réflexions sur l'influence des facteurs endogènes et exogènes dans la configuration du paysage, tandis que chaque portion du relief était définie. A cet effet, à l'aide des images des satellites ALOS/Palsar, Sentinel 2A et de la carte topographique (SC.23.Y.C.IV) ont été faites des cartes du réseau de drainage local, de l'altimétrie, de la pente, ainsi que la préparation des profils topographiques et bloc diagramme, pour mieux détailler l'exokarst. In loco, le logiciel Avenza Maps et les points spatialisés dans Google Earth Pro ont rendu la navigation simple et rapide. Dès lors, la zone a été divisée en trois compartiments: Compartiment des Plateaux Métasédimentaires Non Carboniques (PMNC), Compartiment des Plateaux Carbonatiques (CPC) et Surfaces avec Occurrence de Dolines (SCOD). Les travaux ont également abouti à l'élaboration d'une carte exploratoire des phénomènes karstiques à l'échelle semi-détaillée (1:50 000). Les travaux peuvent contribuer à l'élaboration de politiques environnementales et pour nouvelles recherches.O sudeste do Tocantins caracteriza-se, dentre outros aspectos geográficos, pela presença de um carste bem desenvolvido, o que motivou a realização da compartimentação geomorfológica do relevo cárstico localizado nos municípios de Natividade e Chapada da Natividade. Neste sentido, este artigo objetivou tecer considerações sobre a influência dos fatores endógenos e exógenos na configuração da paisagem, enquanto eram definidas cada porção do relevo. Para tanto, com o auxílio das imagens dos satélites ALOS/Palsar, Sentinel 2A e da carta topográfica (SC.23-Y-C-IV), foram feitos mapas da rede de drenagem local, de altimetria, declividade, assim como a confecção de perfis topográficos e bloco diagrama, para melhor detalhamento do exocarste. In loco, o software Avenza Maps e os pontos espacializados no Google Earth Pro tornaram a navegação rápida e objetiva. A partir de então, dividiu-se a área em três compartimentos: Compartimento dos Planaltos Metassedimentares Não-Carbonáticos (PMNC), Compartimento dos Planaltos Carbonáticos (CPC) e Superfícies com Ocorrência de Dolinas (SCOD). O trabalho resultou ainda na elaboração de um mapa exploratório de fenômenos cársticos em escala de semidetalhe (1:50.000).
