Resumo: | The paper seeks to investigate the environmental, social and economic impacts of the Soil and Water Management Program in Micro-basins in Paraná for farm producers participating in the program in the town of Irati/PR and region. The agency affirms that the initiative aims to generate a better quality of life for the residents near the micro-basins, as well as to help in the agricultural productive capacity of the region. The paper’s results showed that 85% of the producers believe that the program not only fulfilled what it proposed but also entailed several positive points and significant changes in the relationship between rural producers and the work in the field. Thus, the program assumes an essential role in its condition of public policy, generating income, social welfare, and environmental protection in the Irati/PR region. |
