The relationship between tourist and environmental always results, at least some level of environmental degradation as this practice can contribute to the ecosystem imbalance due to the intense movement of people. However, environmental/ecological parks arise as an alternative to consolidate public policies for the awakening of environmental awareness and effective practice of ecological tourism. In this way that study analyzes, identifies and highlights the practice of tourism with the process of environmental degradation that occurs in this park, located in the municipalities of Esperantina and Batalha in the State of Piauí. Were performed application of questionnaires to visitors, on-site observations, as well as a reference to study Cavalcante e Maciel (2008), Del Rio (1999), Drummond (2007), Krippendorf (2007), among others. The main results pointed to the importance of better management in this conservation unit, mainly for cleaning and maintenance in the not rainy period and the need to implement environmental education project.
