Resumo: The natural water erosion process occurs at a slow rate and the anthropic impact changes these equilibrium conditions, intensifying the process. Among the characteristics that condition this process, the susceptibility to laminar and linear erosion at the edges of Itumbiara Hydroelectric plant reservoir (GO/MG) is outstanding. In this regard, the general objective of the research is to present a proposal for modeling the susceptibility and laminar and linear water-erosion potential, at the edge of reservoirs. In order to achieve this objective, in addition to the registration of the respective land features, processing of digital elevation models and the mapping of physical conditions were carried out. The observed erosive processes coincided, in general, with moderately high or medium susceptibility classes. As for potentiality analysis, there is predominance of agropastoral use over high or moderately high susceptibility, both for the laminar and linear erosions.
