ENSINO PRIMÁRIO NA FRONTEIRA OESTE DE MATO GROSSO NO PÓS-GUERRA: CORUMBÁ (1945-1954)

O presente trabalho vai tratar da organização e da expansão do ensino primário na cidade de Corumbá, o mais significativo núcleo urbano da fronteira Oeste do estado de Mato Grosso, no período que se abriu com o final da Segunda Grande Guerra. Neste sentido, o artigo inicia-se com a exposição do histórico que marcou o pós-guerra imediato em Mato Grosso e em sua fronteira Oeste, Tendo cm vista este contexto, analisam-se em seguida os desdobramentos da questão educacional no período, considerando principalmente que foi este o momento histórico no qual se deu a consolidação dos processos de reforma delineados em anos anteriores, mediante a confirmação e expansão do sistema nacional de ensino em Mato Grosso e, particularmente, na cidade de Corumbá. Como o principal alvo destas políticas públicas era o ensino primário é dele especificamente que estaremos tratando nestas reflexões sobre a educação na fronteira Oeste do Brasil. Palavras-chave: História da Educação; Mato Grosso e Mato Grosso do Sul; Ensino primário; História; Corumbá; História da Educação.   Abstract: This work deals with the organization and expansion of primary education in the City of Corumbá, the impost significant urban nucleus in the Western frontier of the state of Mato Grosso, in the period inaugurated with the end of the Second World War. To this end, the article begins with an exposition of the historical context that marked the period immediately after the II World War on Mato Grosso and the Western front. Given this context the effects on education are then analyzed in this period, considering, principally, what existed at this moment in time when the consolidation of the processes of reform delineated during the preceding years, through the confirmation and expansion of the national teaching system in Mato Grosso and, particularly, in the City of Corumbá.
