Dramaturgic and staging processes of intermediality

Resumo: | Hybridism, polyphonic juxtapositions, frictions, collaborative creations, performativity are some aspects that we identify in contemporary performing arts. All these aspects reverberate in the processes of creating the scenes and the dramaturgy, mainly through intermediality. To analyze this context, four plays were studied in the light of contemporary theories: Wooster Group's Hamlet and Poor Theatre, and Cia Ex-Machina's 887 and Needles and Opium. Documentary materials produced by the theater companies themselves such as their books of processes and recordings of theatrical plays were consulted. This paper analyzes the resources and ways of expansion of this theatricality in which, through intermediality, a scene involves the spectator with a sensory overload. |

Todos esos aspectos repercuten en los procesos de creación de la escena y la dramaturgia, principalmente a través de la intermediación. Para analizar ese contexto, se estudiaron cuatro obras a la luz de las teorías contemporáneas: Hamlet and Poor Theatre de The Wooster Group y 887 y Needles and Opium de Cia Ex-Machina. Se analizaron los materiales documentales disponibles de las compañías teatrales, como sus libros de procesos y grabaciones de obras teatrales. El artículo analiza los recursos y modos de expansión de esa teatralidad en la que, a través de la intermedialidad, la escena envuelve al espectador con una sobrecarga sensorial.Hibridismo, justaposições polifonias, fricções, criações colaborativas, performatividade são alguns aspectos identificados nas artes cênicas contemporâneas. Todos esses aspectos reverberam nos processos de criação da cena e da dramaturgia, principalmente por meio da intermedialidade. Para analisar esse contexto, foram estudadas quatro peças à luz das teorias contemporâneas: Hamlet e Poor Theatre do The Wooster Group e 887 e Needles and Opium da Cia Ex-Machina. Foram analisados materiais documentais acessados por disponibilização das companhias teatrais como seus livros de processos e gravações das peças teatrais.
