The so-called Entrepreneurial “Accumulation”: the entrepreneurial State of new neoliberalism in the 21st century

Resumo: Entrepreneurship as an emerging political-economic formula is one of thekey “innovations” in both neoliberal theory and ideological practices and plays a crucial role in the developments that characterize late twenty-first-century capitalism. It is intended to deepen the processes of economic exploitation, political domination, and social oppression, all of which are exacerbated by the neoliberal phase. This articles summarizes some of the main characteristics of this process by highlighting the main aspects of entrepreneurial theory, its origins, and its emergencies; it outlines the fundamental facets of entrepreneurial praxis in contemporary political economy as well. Through a synthetic illustration -the case of the so-called Orange Economy in Colombia-, it exemplifies elements that, in concrete terms, are converging in the practical governmental orientations currently in force with in what we could allegorically call: entrepreneurial accumulation.

Lo anterior acompaña y profundiza los procesos de explotación económica, dominación política y opresión social, todos ellos exacerbados durante la fase neoliberal. Este artículo sintetiza algunos de los principales rasgos de este proceso, destacando los aspectos sustanciales de la teoría del emprendedor, sus orígenes e irrupciones subrayando además las facetas fundamentales de la praxis emprendedora en el marco de la economía política contemporánea. A través de una ilustración sintética -el caso de la llamada Economía Naranja en Colombia- se ejemplifican los elementos que en términos concretos están convergiendo en las prácticas gubernamentales actualmente vigentes en lo que podríamos llamar alegóricamente: la acumulación emprendedora.O empreendedorismo como fórmula político-económica emergente é uma das “inovações” chave tanto em teoria quanto nas práticas ideológicas neoliberais e desempenha um papel crucial na evolução que caracteriza o capitalismo tardio no século XXI. Isto para aprofundar os processos de exploração económica, domínio político e opressão social - todos exacerbados pela fase neoliberal. Este artigo resume algumas das principais características deste processo, destacando os principais aspectos da teoria do empreendedorismo, suas origens e emergências; traça as facetas fundamentais da práxis empreendedora para a economia política contemporânea.
