Resumo: This paper aims to understand the formation of the Bachilleratos Populares in Argentina and their contributions to the construction of the popular public school in Latin America and the Caribbean. A case study was carried out with fieldwork, bibliographic and documentary research, and semi-structured interviews. The constitution of the Popular Public School is possible with political, pedagogical and philosophical autonomy, which is materialized in the curricula, contents, didactics, evaluations, teacher training and claims to the State and civil society.

Metodológicamente, la investigación se configura como un estudio de caso con relevamiento bibliográfico, relevamiento documental y entrevistas semiestructuradas. La constitución de la Escuela Pública Popular es posible con autonomia política, pedagógica y filosófica que se materializa en los planes de estudio, en los contenidos, en la didáctica, en las evaluaciones, en la formación docente y en las demandas al Estado y a la sociedad civil.O presente trabalho objetiva compreender a formação dos Bachilleratos Populares na Argentina e suas contribuições para a construção da escola pública popular na América Latina e Caribe. Metodologicamente, a pesquisa se configura como um estudo de caso com trabalho de campo, levantamento bibliográfico, levantamento documental e realização de entrevistas semiestruturadas.
