Resumo: The general objective of this article was to identify and analyze the conceptions of care and teaching present in the Pedagogical Political Project of the municipality of Catalão/GO for Early Childhood Education in the light of Cultural-Historical Psychology. The Pedagogical Political Project (PPP) of the municipality of Catalão/GO for Early Childhood Education, as well as the PPPs of three municipal institutions of early childhood education, were taken as object of study. The categories of analysis were: care, child development and teaching. The Pedagogical Political Project of Catalão/GO presents an overview of children's education, diagnoses and goals; while the PPPs of the institutions are more specific when addressing activities to be developed in the school, as well as the infrastructure of the same.

Le projet politique pédagogique (PPP) de la municipalité de Catalão/GO pour l'éducation de la petite enfance, ainsi que les PPP de trois institutions municipales de la petite enfance ont été pris en considération. Les catégories d'analyse étaient les suivantes: soins, développement de l'enfant et enseignement. Le projet politique pédagogique de Catalão/GO présente un aperçu de l'éducation des enfants, des diagnostics et des objectifs; tandis que les PPP des institutions sont plus spécifiques lorsqu'on aborde les activités à développer dans l'école, ainsi que l'infrastructure de ces dernières.  O objetivo geral deste artigo foi identificar e analisar as concepções de cuidado e ensino presentes no Projeto Político Pedagógico do município de Catalão/GO para a Educação Infantil à luz da Psicologia Histórico-Cultural. Foram tomados como objeto de estudo o Projeto Político Pedagógico (PPP) do município de Catalão/GO para a Educação Infantil, bem como os PPPs de três instituições municipais de educação infantil. As categorias de análise foram: cuidado, desenvolvimento infantil e ensino.
