Resumo: Today's society is called by many “neoliberal”, being marked by the reproduction of a business reason in search of the propagation of market interests in various spheres. In this sense, this article proposes to debate how the dimension of education fits into this context, reflecting on obstacles and challenges to realize a transformative teaching. It is proposed to investigate the “New High School” announced by the Temer government in 2017, assuming that the formulation of this policy can be understood in greater depth by presenting evidence of the existence of some relational networks between government and the private sector. In the research, we analyzed the proposal in relation to that of two other groups - Itaú Unibanco and Instituto Inspirare - from the perspective of the networks, which led us to discuss the place of the Movement for the Common National Base and its aspirations.
