TEACHING, RESEARCH AND EXTENSION PRACTICES IN THE AMBIT OF GPECS: QUESTIONING BODY, GENDER, SEXUALITIES AND SCHOOL EDUCATION

Resumo: The current proposition comes from the productions, questions and concerns developed in the ambit of the Gender, Body, Sexuality and Education research group (GPECS), linked to the post-graduation program in education at the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia - UFU. This way, with the mobilizations that emerged in the actions promoted by the group, we look forward to, in this text, discuss how they are involved and (re)signified in the school pedagogic practices, considering the relevance of respect and recognition of different expressions of gender and sexual identities. We believe in the resonance of the GPECS' actions with the daily school, as a training space involved with the overcoming of the intolerant processes against the diversity of sexual and gender orientation that, in the school, become so cruel that ends up imposing to people who break the rule a life of suffering and exclusion.

We believe in the resonance of the GPECS' actions with the daily school, as a training space involved with the overcoming of the intolerant processes against the diversity of sexual and gender orientation that, in the school, become so cruel that ends up imposing to people who break the rule a life of suffering and exclusion.  Cette proposition a surgi des productions, problématisations et inquiétudes développées au sein du Grupo de Pesquisa Gênero, Corpo, Sexualidade e Educação (GPECS - Groupe de Recherche Genre, Corps, Sexualité et Éducation) dans le cadre du Programme de Troisième cycle universitaire en éducation de l'Université fédérale d'Uberlândia. À partir des mobilisations ayant émergé des actions promues par le GPECS, ce texte discute comment celles-ci sont impliquées et (re)signifiées dans les pratiques pédagogiques scolaires en tenant compte de la pertinence du respect et de la reconnaissance des différentes expressions de genre et sexualité. Nous misons sur les répercussions des actions de GPECS sur le quotidien scolaire comme espace de formation engagé dans le dépassement des processus d'intolérance envers la differánce qui, à l'école, sont devenus si cruels qu'ils finissent par imposer une vie de souffrance et d'exclusion aux personnes transgressant la norme donnée.  A presente proposta emerge das produções, problematizações e inquietações desenvolvidas no âmbito do Grupo de Pesquisa Gênero, Corpo, Sexualidade e Educação, vinculado ao Programa de Pós-graduação em Educação da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. Com as ações promovidas pelo grupo, buscamos, neste texto, discutir como se implicam e (res)significam as práticas pedagógicas, considerando a relevância do reconhecimento das diferentes expressões de gênero e sexualidade.
