Resumo: The arrival of Covid-19 in peripheral territories makes it necessary to reorganize the work process in the Family Health Strategy. The aim of this study was to analyze the work process operated by Family Health Strategy teams in the context of Covid-19, relating it to the socio-spatial singularities of the territories where they work in Recife, in the state of Pernambuco. This is an exploratory study of a qualitative nature, developed using the Focus Group technique, carried out by videoconference in three groups, including the teams: Expanded Family Health Center, Community Health Agents and Family Health from the eight Health Districts of Recife. The products were analyzed using the Thematic Analysis technique, based on theoretical indicators of the work process and material and symbolic singularities. It was observed that Covid-19 has had a wide-ranging impact on communities, aggravating existing vulnerabilities, and that the operationalization of the work has focused on individual and curative care, resulting in a gap between the actions developed and the broader needs arising from the pandemic context. A limitation of the study is the insufficient quantitative characterization of the broader impacts of Covid-19, indicating the need for further studies to gain a more detailed understanding of the reality in the territories where the FHS operates in the city of Recife.
