THE THEMATIC OF DRUGS IN THE SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTIONS OF A HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION IN NURSING

Resumo: Objective: to identify how the drug theme has been addressed in scientific productions of a Higher Education Institution. Method: documentary study, with a qualitative approach. Twenty-seven undergraduate and graduate scientific productions were analyzed documents. The corpus was processed using the Interface de R pour les Analyses Multidimensionnelles de Textes et de Questionnaires software, according to the Descending Hierarchical Classification. Results: two approaches were identified in the productions: privilege of substances and pathological processes resulting from consumption and the unpreparedness of professionals to deal with the demands of the person who makes problematic drug use. Conclusion: the influence of the biomedical model in health education still proposes a focus on substances and the consequences of abusive use to the detriment of the user. Therefore, it is suggested the development of discussions regarding the topic in undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as in professional training in health services.

Método: estudo documental, de abordagem qualitativa. Foram documentos de análise 27 produções científicas da graduação e pós-graduação. O corpus foi processado no software Interface de R pour les Analyses Multidimensionnelles de Textes et de Questionnaires e conformou a Classificação Hierárquica Descendente. Resultados: nas produções foram identificadas duas abordagens: privilégio das substâncias e processos patológicos decorrentes do consumo e o despreparo dos profissionais para lidar com as demandas da pessoa que faz uso problemático de droga. Conclusão: a influência do modelo biomédico na formação em saúde, ainda propõe foco nas substâncias e nas consequências do uso abusivo em detrimento da pessoa usuária.
