This article discusses the search and collection of information about the academic and social development of a student with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the Mathematics class, during his first year of Integrated Technical Education in theFederal Technologic Universityof Paraná. This work was born of the concern of a teacher to adapt her classes to the special needs of the student. The methodology used was qualitative with the use of Field Diaries as well as bibliographical research, in order to enrich and bring necessary information about student behavior and resources for Mathematics classes. The results obtained were the changes of the classes with the construction of strategies to be taught according to the demands of the school. We conclude that for the follow-up of the student during the classes, regardless of their initial diagnosis, constant collaborative action andeffectiveinvolvement among teachers / assistants / parents is necessary.
