The Teaching of Largenesses and Measures in na Official Curriculum for Basic Education

Resumo: To carry out this work, we seek to analyze how the teaching of quantities and measures in the Curriculum Parameters for Basic Education of the State of Pernambuco is presented. The research presents a qualitative approach, with documentary character, in which we use the theoretical support of Lima and Bellemain (2010) in the analysis of the produced data. These authors discuss the teaching and learning processes related to the field of quantities and measures in basic education. As a result, we find that both proposals converge in discussions about the work of the Quantities and Measures throughout schooling. We emphasize that, both in the document analyzed and in the mentioned theoretical framework, there is a culmination in relation to the justification used to defend the work with the Quantities and Measures throughout the basic education, they are: the social relevance, and the articulations with the other fields Mathematics and other school subjects.

La investigación presenta un enfoque cualitativo, con carácter documental, en el que utilizamos el apoyo teórico de Lima y Bellemain (2010) en el análisis de los datos producidos. Estos autores discuten los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje relacionados con el campo de Grandezas y Medidas en educación básica. Como resultado, encontramos que ambas propuestas convergen en discusiones sobre el trabajo de las Grandezas y Medidas durante la escolarización. Hacemos hincapié en que, tanto en el documento analizado como en el marco teórico mencionado, existe una culminación en relación con la justificación utilizada para defender el trabajo con las Grandezas y Medidas a lo largo de la educación básica, son: la relevancia social y las articulaciones con los otros campos. Matemáticas y otras asignaturas escolares.Para a realização deste trabalho, buscamos analisar como é apresentado o ensino de Grandezas e Medidas nos Parâmetros Curriculares para a Educação Básica do Estado de Pernambuco. A pesquisa apresenta uma abordagem qualitativa, com caráter documental, na qual empregamos o aporte teórico de Lima e Bellemain (2010) na análise dos dados produzidos. Tais autores discutem sobre os processos de ensino e de aprendizagem de conteúdos vinculados ao campo das Grandezas e Medidas no ensino básico. Como resultado, constatamos que ambas as propostas convergem nas discussões sobre o trabalho das Grandezas e Medidas ao longo da escolarização.
