Empreendedorismo, inovação e desenvolvimento regional no Triângulo Mineiro sob a ótica das ações do Centro de Incubação de Atividades Empreendedoras (CIAEM)

The Business Incubators has an important role in promoting innovation for start-ups and regional development. This study searched to investigate the actions turned at entrepreneurship and innovation, implemented by Centro de Incubação de Atividades Empreendedoras – CIAEM. Were realized in-depth interviews with managers and consultants of the business incubator and entrepreneurs of incubated, pre-incubated and graduated companies, totaling 16 interviewed. In addition to the interviews, the other data were collected through documentary research and non-participant observation. Data were processed through the Excel Spread sheet and Content Analysis was performed. Analyzing the data obtained, it was possible to observe that the business incubator hás na entrepreneur profile that is a little different from the national average, since the entrepreneurs have na average age below the national average and education level above the entrepreneurs in the country. It was also identified the incubation methodology used by the incubator, which adopts its own methodology and has sought to implement agile process management. Regarding the actions implemented by CIAEM, despite not having any systematic action or joint actions between the three propellers (University - Government - Company), however, it was possible to identify specific actions, interaction with two propellers (University - Company), which can assist economicd evelopment in the Triângulo Mineiro region. It is concluded that with the changes that have occurred in the incubation process, the incubated company, together with the responsible consultant (company tutor), can define the Best incubation methodology to be used for a given moment and even use it more than one methodology management when required.
