Resumo: The present article aims to verify the aspects of the testimonial evidence and its real valuation in the criminal process, analyzing its efficiency and effectiveness as the basis of the conviction. To do so, it addresses the psychology of testimony, as well as examines the phenomenon of false memories and the trustworthiness of testimonies.
