The following work has the main goal of re-building relationship between childhood and family, stated in the news business discourse in the city of Uberlândia, MG in 1937-1945. In order to accomplish this research, in the field of Education History throught the news agency, it was used three local news called: O Repórter, A Tribuna e Correio de Uberlândia. The news are known as a rich resource source which is possible to understand the relationship among the history scene, politic and educational Vargas Era in the New State within the control and censure happened in the government places. In the several moments of over praise to Vargas Era s exploit in the process of national politics, local, and national news' writers wrote about the nation family and the necessity of knowing about the childhood process. The indicated way of Brazilian State was clear throught out the legislation which was always published and renewed, describing government concepts around the family structure. Within the 1937 Constitution, the family was responsable for the education process in which several programs were discussed about the attention of the new agreement of the family and the childhood. If one side of the magna letter stated that the State should have the special caring to the family, the other side stated that the special interest should be caring to the physic, intelectual, and moral of the childhood. The news articles asked for reforms, behavior s changes, and the most important the compromising of the Braziliam family with the modernization of the nation. According to the written news' agency, the family who had the special protection from the State, should have the responsibility of producting super men for the new society, and then the family must provide education to the kids in order to build health and truly citizens. In conclusion the local news' agency was used as one more mecanism of the New State to evaluate, direct, and work as an educative mecanism for the family and Brazilian childhood.
