Resumo: This work is an analysis of the hotel sector of Uberlandia, more specifically in the category of events and businesses, it is an analysis of researches carried out by the local governments together with the historical facts that led the city to develop a lodging sector oriented towards this modality and as this modality is closely linked to the social and economic development of the municipality and the region, since the hotel activity requires a quantity of services besides only accommodation but a whole range of services that require a quality so that it can meet this category.
