Resumo: | The social relations of the daily life of the man and the investigations that deepen in the elements related to the domain, control and power, has assumed strong representation in the scientific geographical studies, since it instigates questions on how territories are produced from the social relations that are established in space. The possibilities of studies about territories, especially in religious festive contexts, contribute to the exploitation of the concept, considering that the festivals can be analyzed as a space for the production of disputes and territorial conflicts. In addition, the religious festive context of analysis reflects the relationships generated between individuals and, mainly, the relationships established between communities understood as political agents that have a certain identity, control and dominion over the territory. From the above, the present work has as its theme the territoriality of the Feast of the Divine Eternal Father in the city of Trinity, Goiás, and the guiding question of this study is: How is the territoriality configured in the context of the Divine Trinity FatherGO, from the relations established between merchants, residents, public power and pilgrims? Thus, the general objective of this work was to analyze how the territoriality is configured in the context of the Divine Father Party in the GO-Trinity, based on the relations established between the investigated groups. In turn, the specific objectives understood: a) to characterize the Feast of the Divine Eternal Father in the city of Trinity; b) to analyze the religious dimension regarding the spaces of the feast considered sacred and profane from the perspective of the various actors investigated (merchants, residents, government and pilgrims); c) to investigate the economic, political and social impacts of the festival from the perspective of the individuals analyzed; and d) to characterize the peculiarities that reveal the existence of territories in the festive context of analysis, from elements such as domination, disputes and control of spaces. In this qualitative research, structured interviews guided by a script containing previously established questions were used as tools to collect the data, opting for the use of technical content analysis for data analysis. Additionally, field notes were included in this study, focusing on the peculiarities of the party, especially the territorial aspects observed during the investigation. As a result, the existence of domain and territorial disputes, which are identified in the relations established between the groups present in the analyzed festive context: church and merchants; church and beggars; merchants and beggars; among the beggars themselves; merchants and public power; fixed and temporary traders; public power and residents; and residents and pilgrims. In this sense, the delimitation of the analyzed spaces is pointed out as the main element that configures the territorial dimension, and the church and the public power are considered as the holders of control, dominion and power. Finally, the aspects related to the configuration of the territory are also identified in the context of the pilgrimage, being observed, mainly, by the traders in the path of the pilgrimage. |
