The present study aims to examine whether the central logistic complex of Uberlândia (MG) can be considered as a local productive arrangement, as referred to in the literature features. For this, the specific objectives are: to present the main features of the logistics complex of Uberlândia (MG); and analyze, through the indicators for APL, if the complex can be characterized as a productive arrangement. The question that guides the work is: what are the characteristics or indicators should be reviewed so that a cluster of companies can be considered a local productive arrangement? The hypothesis adopted, is that a cluster is classified as local productive arrangement if the stop of 80% of the six sets of indicators adopted by the literature. To achieve the proposed objective, used theoretical contribution to the conceptualization of clusters, indicators and characteristics of Local productive Arrangement, with consequent rationale and results of field research undertaken. The data were collected in the period December 2018 to March 2019, using as a tool the questionnaire drawn up by RedeSist, widely tested for that purpose. Corroborated the hypothesis adopted in this work. On the results available for spreadsheets for tariff RedeSist, it can be affirmed that the logistics complex in the city of Uberlândia (MG) do not qualify as an APL. It was also found that the same does not fit the main fact to be no governance and low innovation and cooperation.
