Avaliação da satisfação de pacientes e seus cuidadores em relação aos serviços de cuidados paliativos em oncologia: revisão integrativa

Introduction: Palliative Care (PC) arose from a philosophy that aims at an assessment of the quality of life of patients and their staff about diseases that threaten the continuity of life. The CP services seek strategies aimed at preventing and reducing the risks of their different dimensions, such as those that need to be evaluated in order to improve their relation to the services provided. The study aimed to acknowledge the satisfaction of patients and their caregivers for CP services in oncology. Methodology: It was an integrative review of the literature in the computerized databases Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS) and PubMed. For cases of controlled contracture, the following were selected: Health Care Disorders (DeCS): Palliative Care, Oncology, Patient Satisfaction, Patient Terminal, Caregivers and Health Service; and no English language DeCS: Palliative Care, Medical Oncology, Patient Satisfaction, Caregiver and Health Service, expecting to answer the guiding question: "What is the result of the analysis of adult patients with advanced cancer and the elderly in relation to the services provided by the Palliative Care Programs?”. The studies included were unique original studies; emerged with adult humans; during the period from January 2009 to January 2019; in Portuguese and English, and especially on the established theme. Results: Of 506 references, only nine (n = 9) were selected, composed of our final sample. Reading in full the articles allowed meet studies that dealt with a thematic according to the guiding question. Large categories were built based on study participants (1) quality satisfaction with cancer care services in caregiver and / or family therapy (2) quality satisfaction with palliative care services in oncology from a patient's perspective (3) quality satisfaction of lighting with the services of palliative care in oncology on view of patients and caregivers. Conclusion: In general, it was demonstrated the satisfaction of CP services in oncology requires the integration between caregivers and patients with multidisciplinary equips, which extend the understanding to the finitude of life with the objective of unify the service of CP worldwide.
