Resumo: This study is dedicated to doing a bibliographic review on leisure studies for the elderly, through the Annals of the 1st to 4th Brazilian Congress of Leisure Studies. Concern about the aging process has been growing and has been the subject of many studies, especially after the observation of the increase in the elderly population in the world due to the decrease in birth and mortality rates, better material conditions for the survival of the world population, public health progress and medical advances. Through a bibliographic research, it is possible to point out and compare where leisure studies for the elderly population are focused and, in this way, contribute to the expansion of the debate on this study.
