Resumo: This research was conducted in the field of visual arts with an emphasis on chromatic theory and the creative process. Initially, analyses were made of paintings from different periods of art history, drawing associations with elements of musical theory such as rhythm, harmony, melody, and timbre. Subsequently, a series of studies were undertaken, resulting in the creation of an initial visual composition. This image was crafted using the language of painting and was based on my perception of a specific piece of music. Through this creative process, a series of 12 productions were developed using acrylic paint on canvas, inspired by diverse Brazilian musical pieces. Finally, the serialized collection was exhibited in an exposition titled Cores Sonantes (Resonant Colors).
