The floristic surveys contribute considerable to characterization and identification of the diversity, being extremely important to conservation of the nature. The aims of study were identification and comparation of the species of Angiosperms in the Parque Estadual do Pau Furado (PEPF), in the city of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais. Besides that, we compared the species that occurs in this region with other similar and geographically closely related phytophysiognomies. The collections were carried out between March 2017 and August 2018, in two trails of the Park. All fertile specimens were herborized and incorporated in the collection of the Herbarium Uberlandense (HUFU) of the Instituto de Biologia of the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, Minas Gerais. In total were identified 112 species, distributed in 95 genera and 43 families. The most representative families in number of species were Fabaceae (11 spp.), followed by Asteraceae (10 spp.), Rubiaceae and Sapindaceae (7 spp. Each). In PEPF, we can observe a species richness although this work has been carried out in only two trails. The comparison with other works performed in the same region shows that the number of species is smaller and that the PEPF presents differences in floristic composition with respect to others areas. Probably, this difference can be explained by the fact of the trails have been built by former owners of farms, before of the installation of the park, as well as the size of the areas and methodology of the works. The survey of this flora contributed considerably to the characterization and identification of the diversity of the Park, indicating the importance of the preservation of its phytophysiognomies.
