Resumo: | In the last years, the pharmaceutical industry has been injured by the production of low quality medicines, which offer risks for the human health and are responsable for industry debility and depositary decrease. In search for improvement in quality control, the LIBS (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) presented itself rather promiser when it is used as an analytical method, due to its high data acquisition velocity e multi-elemental analysis, that allows in situ investigations and doesn’t require any sample preparation. This work development was divided into two steps: first purposed to analise Dorflex tablets uniformity, a medicine commonly used by population, and second with the intent to study and characterize the plasma generated by the technique. In the first step, throughout the correlation statistic method, it was revealed high homogeneity and components distribution on the tablet. In the second step, through Na I and Fe II emission lines, we found plasma temperature in the detection moment as being T= (13000 ± 3000) K and T= (13000 ± 1000) K, respectively. We also calculate electron density and have obtained ne = 1, 684 x 10^22 cm^(-3) with standard deviation σ = 2 x 10^21 cm^(-3). |
