Resumo: | This thesis proposes to discuss the exile and female displacement in the works Ronda solitária (1954), No exílio (1948), O muro de pedras (1963), and O dia mais longo de Thereza (1965) by Elisa Lispector. In them, the characters created by the author live a kind of spatial and social displacement, represented in hybrid identities, constructed by means of incommunicable and lonely women stranded by some type of existential anguish who, although showing a certain desire for communication with the world, they go into exile in as attempt at self-knowledge. These characters enact the forms of nomadism and seek through intense mobility, balance. The experiences lived by the characters oh Elisa Lispector, seem to be confused with the life stories of the author herself, since they narrate facts that, throughout the research, were brought up about her. Through Literary Criticism, we resort to reflections by theorists such as Márcio Seligmann-Silva, Nádia Batella Gotlib, Julia Kristeva, among others, in order to reflect and analyze the role played by these women in Elisa Lispector’s narrative, investigating writing as a means release for the writer. Keywords: Literature. Exile. Displacement. Feminine. Elisa Lispector |
