Casos de ensino: uma análise bibliométrica das publicações do ENANPAD de 2013 a 2017

The purpose of this study was to analyze the Teaching Cases published in the EnANPAD congress, identifying whether there was a significant increase in the use of such an approach in the areas of Accounting and Administration and analyzing the evolution as to the production of these cases. For that, the descriptive research was used, with quantitative approach, with the data collection procedure being a bibliometric research. The sample was composed by 103 articles published in EnANPAD during the period from 2013 to 2017, classified as Teaching Cases. It has been verified that over the years the number of publications on the subject of Teaching Cases has increased. Also analyzed were the characteristics of the total of 221 authors of the articles, the majority being of the feminine gender (55.2%) besides the analysis of which authors have more than one publication about the subject in the studied period. The topics studied were analyzed in the articles, some of them, such as Marketing (16.1%) and Entrepreneurship (13.8%), were more recurrent than the others, as well as the presence of subjects in the area of Accounting (20.4%). A set of characteristics in the study methodology used by the authors of the articles that can be applied to General Teaching Cases were perceived which are: the qualitative research approach, the empirical study, the use of primary and secondary data together, the collection of data through documents and interviews, with a descriptive nature, longitudinal coverage, using non-probabilistic samples and absence of future studies and study limitations.
