Urban mobility has been discussed increasingly in recent years, as the urbanization of the city progressively returned to a growth model dispersed, with the outlying areas very distant from the center, where take place employment opportunities, work, study, health and leisure. One of the agents responsible for the dispersal of the urban fabric has been the real state equity, that generates large urban voids next to the poles of interest of the city forming tracts empty that are waiting to be overvalued and sold at a high price. That, the low-income population is forced to occupy areas increasingly distant from the areas of interest of the cities, having to travel great distances to take advantage of necessary basic services offered to the population. This is the question that comes to urban mobility, a theme on which the present work will discuss issues that are related to the displacement of the population, with a focus in public transport urban, in it’s quality of service and in the infrastructure that is offered to the population. The focus of the work is in the public transport of the city of Uberlandia, which has an Integrated Transport System (SIT), which has six terminals integration. The main terminal of the system is the Central Terminal, located in the central area of the city that in the current situation of the building, does not involve the flow of people and buses that it moves, seen that has a huge demand of users. With this, this work offers a reflection on the urban mobility in the city, raising discussions and guidelines that will be able to guide a new project for the Central Terminal, aiming at a higher quality of the project to the local and, consequently, transport system of the city.
