Resumo: The objective of this work is to perform a bibliographic survey of relevant positions in the debate on the rationality of theistic belief (the de jure question). First, it talks about the de jure problem and how theistic belief should be understood in this context. Then a family of positions called “evidentialism” is presented. Then, three forms of evidentialism are analyzed: Clifford's evidentialism, evidentialism from classical foundationalism and Wykstra's sensible evidentialism. Similarly, basicalism is presented, followed by an analysis of Plantinga's Reformed epistemology and Quinn's position. The work did not aim to carry out an evaluation of the positions presented. The arguments and concepts are studied in order to understand the state of the art of the discussion. The methodology used is based on internal exegesis of philosophy of religion texts. This research is located in the area of philosophy of religion, more specifically, epistemology of religion.

Primeiramente, reflete- se sobre a acusação de jure e como a crença teísta deve ser entendida neste contexto. Depois, uma família de posições chamada de “evidencialismo” é apresentada. Em seguida, três formas de evidencialismo são analisadas: o evidencialismo de Clifford, o evidencialismo a partir do fundacionalismo clássico e o evidencialismo sensato de Wykstra. Analogamente, o basicalismo é apresentado, seguido da análise da epistemologia reformada de Plantinga e a posição de Quinn. O trabalho não visou realizar uma avaliação das posições apresentadas. Os argumentos e conceitos são estudados com o intuito de compreender o estado da arte da discussão. A metodologia utilizada se baseia na exegese interna de textos de filosofia da religião.
