Given the current educational prominence, exemplified by the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA), presented by China and other countries in the Sinosphere, questions about factors that could influence such notoriety concern educators and researchers in Western countries. In order to gain a deeper understanding of this issue, this study proposes an investigative exploration of the historical and sociocultural development of Chinese education, with a specific focus on Confucius' Philosophy. Confucianism, a philosophy spanning over 2500 years, establishes education as the primary means of individual and societal improvement. Due to its extensive historical evolution, this philosophy has become deeply rooted in Chinese societies to the point of being established as a cultural system. Its educational focus played a pivotal role in the development of China's early universities and public examinations. In this context, the study aimed to investigate its direct and/or indirect influence on the educational system throughout history and in contemporary times. To achieve this, a bibliographical and documentary analysis was conducted, including key works for Confucianism such as "The Analects" (论语 – Lúnyǔ) and "The Book of Rites" (礼记 - Lǐ Jì), specifically focusing on chapters known as "Record on the subject of education" (学记 – Xué jì) and "The Great Learning" (大学 - Dà xué). By exploring the primary proposals and focuses of this educational framework, seeking to compare and exchange these insights with education in Brazil, the study proceeded to formulate an e-book titled "O Confucionismo e seu Impacto na Educação" for dissemination and assistance in teacher courses.
