The present work aimed to analyze the structure and the process of managerial control in a microenterprise of the Electronic Security sector in the municipality of Ituiutaba/MG. Studies demonstrating that in Brazil, microenterprises are of great importance for the economy, but there is a high mortality due to management problems. In order to achieve the proposed objective, a case study was used, thus, with a semi-structured interview with the company manager, direct observation techniques, analysis of documents, reports and others that the company is your organization. Based on the verified data, it was verified that the manager is attentive to the oscillations of the market, constantly seeking improvements for the organization, aiming to reach its objectives. As regards the management control system, the company has a familiar internal control, whose focus is on people's trust, that is, all procedures are performed in a simple and interpersonal way with employees. In order for the company to improve its decision-making process, it is necessary to have specialized courses in the area of its market, associating itself with the manager's professional knowledge and administrative theories.
