Resumo: The present study aims to examine the strategic aspects related to the retention of entrepreneurial talent in accounting service startups, investigating their influence on the process of organizational development and viability. From this perspective, the objective was to analyze strategic aspects of retaining entrepreneurial talent in startups providing accounting services and their influence on the organizational development process. To understand this purpose, a single case study was adopted as a research method, using a qualitative, descriptive approach, with the aim of exploring the perceptions and experiences of the participants. The results found highlighted the importance of establishing strategic mechanisms for retaining talent in the initial stage, with entrepreneurs having to make efforts to identify the need for opportunities for growth and career advancement
