Resumo: The residency in the health professional area is a modality of lato sensu post-graduation created by the Ministry of Health in order to train professionals through teaching and practical activities in the health field. This work aims to discuss the specificity of the psychologist's role and its insertion in a Clinical Nutrition team of a multiprofessional residency program in health. This report presents the activities performed bya resident in the two years program. The specialization in Clinical Nutrition in health residency is recent and the possibilities of insertion in those programs are limited as well as the literature on the subject. It is necessary to consolidate this field through the practices of professionals involved in the construction of the process, and furthermore, as source contributors of information for other professionals who do not know this kind of specialization.

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar a especificidade da atuação e inserção do psicólogo em uma equipe de Nutrição Clínica de um programa de residência multiprofissional em saúde. Este relato apresenta as atividades desempenhadas pela residente nos dois anos que configuram a residência. A especialização em Nutrição Clínica, através de residência em saúde é recente, as possibilidades de inserção nestes programas são limitadas, assim como a literatura sobre o tema.
