Resumo: In this paper, was developed a verification of a steel pedestrian bridge over railways built in the city of Uberlândia back in the nineties. The goal is to create a comparison between the design methods used in this structure and the models used nowadays. After modeling the structure in a 3D software to obtain the stress diagrams, the critical pieces were verified for rupture and service.
