A questão espinhosa e extremamente polêmica que envolve a recusa dos adeptos desta religião gera conflitos médicos e principalmente jurídicos. Portanto, busca analisar quais são estes conflitos e a melhor forma de resolvê-los, através de uma visão abrangente e despida de pré-conceitos, elucidando os fundamentos bíblicos e científicos que estão ligados à recusa. Para desenvolver este trabalho foram realizadas pesquisas bibliográficas, pesquisas doutrinárias e ainda pesquisas em artigos religiosos e científicos.
