This research aims to support the proposal for the creation of a poetic documentary, suggesting delving into the complex dynamics of everyday life in Patrimônio, the oldest neighborhood in the city of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais. Denying the passivity of the subject in the face of structure, this research is evidence of the vitality of life and the creative use that individuals make of things in their Arts of Living. Methodologically, the research is based on the analysis of the actions of the subjects: the tactics and strategies developed by current and/or former residents of the neighborhood inspired by the Reduto Negro artistic intervention project; the tensions, disputes, and articulations they engage in as they signify and produce everyday life, identity positions, memories, and experiences in a digital environment. The proposal seeks to understand how the remaining residents give meaning to their memories and identities in the face of neighborhood transformations. It also aims to consider individuals in communication processes within the municipality, given that they experience and resist an established process of gentrification in the daily life of a once predominantly black neighborhood. The analysis of media, in line with the dialectical movement of this research, is essayistically based on the concept of the vector.
