In most Brazilian cities, the cartographic base is deficient in many aspects, such as, distortions generated by the lack of geodetic control, lack of update and no geodetic reference network. The municipality of Monte Carmelo it fits these parameters. Because of this deficiency and necessity, the objective of this work is the implantation of a horizontal geodetic network in the municipality, from data collection using GNSS receivers. The definition of the quantity and location of its vertices, was defined in the network planning the vertices were strategically deployed the survey sessions were executed in such a way that a basic network and a secondary network were generated, allowing the processing and adjustment of the data with the aid of specific software. Getting thus, the coordinates, as well as their precisions, of the vertex of the horizontal network. Such network will be incorporated into the altimetric network that was developed in another course completion work composing a geodesic reference network for the municipality. This document will contain station information, such as: Geodetic coordinates/UTM, station location and other complementary elements.
