Orientação profissional e adolescência: Uma revisão bibliográfica

To choose a profession is one of the most important decisions in adolescence. In that regard, professional guidance can be understood as a field of action capable of allowing the construction of deep and broad meanings that involve the decision-making process. This study aims to present the scientific articles produced in the last five years (2018 to 2022) in Brazil, about adolescence and the professional choice process published in the databases, Capes, BSV, Index Psicologia, Lilacs, Pepsic, Scielo and Google Academic . And, with that: a) Identify the theoretical conception about adolescence adopted in the articles; b) Recognize the characteristics of the adolescents participating in the research; and c) Reflect on the theoretical conception of professional guidance programs held for adolescents. 54 articles were found and, in the end, 4 scientific articles were selected that met the criteria: 1) having been published between 2022 and 2018, 2) targeting adolescents; 3) explore the practical experience of a professional guidance process. A bibliographical research demonstrated the existence of significant studies related to professional thematic guidance and adolescence, however, it is essential to carry out work aimed at understanding the process of professional choice for LGBTQIAPN+ adolescents.
