The present study aimed to evaluate a high level water capacity of the Uberabinha river through the execution of its water balance, a study area located in the municipalities of Uberlândia and Uberaba, in the Triângulo Mineiro region, west of the state of Minas Gerais. The data used during the study were collected with the aid of the hydrology laboratory UFU, through INIMET and HIDROWEB - ANA, as well as the purchase, leakage and reference evapotranspiration data were acquired, where these were reorganized and worked for use in groups to perform the calculation of the reserve and the accumulated volume. To calculate the reserve that was used for the capture, that is, how much it cost in the region minus the limited quantity through streams, streams and an evaporated quantity used through reference evapotranspiration. The results obtained revealed what was already expected for the region, where there are well-monitored stations with intense gloves that can reach up to 1600 mm, mainly in the months of October to March, but they are also stations where the volume of gloves is the lowest that water scarcity occasionally arrives in some regions, mainly from April to September.
