The present study was conducted in a chemical industry, focused on the home and personal care. The objective of this work is to apply the timing in the process of packaging liquid disinfectants, apply lean manufacturing tools and analyze chrono-analysis statistical data. At the beginning of the study, the entire packaging process was mapped, producing a simple process flow chart for a better understanding of the production chain. In a second moment, time samples of each specific element were collected for three days. Parallel to this, the study also performed activities of observations of the process, in order to find unexpected situations, which could not be described in the timing that directly influenced the quantity of disinfectants produced. With the study, it was possible to identify problems that occurred in the packaging process, which generated costs for the company and a high index of lack of employees. Finally, with the results and analyzes obtained, significant improvements were proposed to the company in order to contribute to the problems encountered and to collaborate so that it can meet the needs of its client and increase the indices of productive capacity of the organization.
