Species of invasive plants associated with animals from the newly colonized area through various resources offered. These associations will form the common interspecific relationships between arthropods and plants and are ruled by biotic and abiotic factors that condition the interrelationships. The plant's resources can attract and maintain the visitation of different animals, but the presence of animals is influenced by the time of year and the time of day, among other factors. The objective of the study was to observe the variation of animal species associated with the plant Sapium glandulosum L. (Morong) 1893 in a vereda (a specific wetland in Sananna environment) in Uberlândia city, Minas Gerais state, Brazil, during the dry season and correlate them with abiotic factors. The community of species associated with S. glandulosum was observed, correlating the visitation time over four months of the dry season and its relationship with factors such as temperature, humidity, and luminosity measured on site. It was observed that abiotic factors have a direct influence on the visitation of arthropods throughout the day, showing that low humidity combined with high temperatures favor the visitation and foraging of these animals on S. glandulosum. The data presented here highlight the importance of abiotic factors, especially temperature and humidity, in the arthropod-plant interaction.
