Resumo: Through this work we seek to better understand the philosophy of religion, which, as an independent discipline, does not date from ancient times. Religion is just one more subject of which philosophy is interested, so that philosophers go through issues that involve the religion in a deeper way, or more superficially. Since philosophy is man's search for an understanding of the world around him, an attempt to mean things, to understand the expression of reality, nothing more understandable than the philosopher's interest in religion, since it represents the subjective and transcendental relationship of the world. Man with his surroundings. Thus, in this research we aim to expand our knowledge regarding this theme in order to contribute to the reflections on philosophy and the philosophy of religion itself.

A religião é apenas mais um tema pelo qual a filosofia se interessa, de modo que os filósofos perpassam por questões que envolvem a religião seja de maneira aprofundada, seja de forma mais superficial. Sendo a filosofia a busca do homem pelo entendimento do mundo que o cerca, uma tentativa de significar as coisas, de compreender a expressão da realidade, nada mais compreensível do que o interesse do filósofo pela religião, visto esta representar a relação subjetiva e transcendental do homem com o seu entorno.
