Resumo: The accumulation of solid waste is one of the environmental problems today. With population growth, this impact is becoming even greater. Today, much attention is being paid to the recycling of waste resulting from industrial processes. Industries produce a considerably large amount of waste, and with this, environmental ethics must be complied with appropriately. This work will develop an automated process for separating the waste generated by a food company, using simulations to show how the process works, consisting of a conveyor system, PLC, sensors for identifying materials and pneumatic actuators.

Com o crescimento populacional, este impacto se torna ainda maior. Hoje, muito se preocupa com a reciclagem de resíduos resultantes dos processos industriais. As indústrias produzem uma quantidade de lixo consideravelmente volumosa, e com isso, a ética ambiental deve ser cumprida de maneira apropriada.
