Resumo: | Microgrids represent na important technological advance for the energy system, either due to their ability to manage themselves, or because they represent a sustainable option, since it is possible to use different renewable energy sources for their operation. Furthermore, there are still technical advantages, as it would solve problems related to failures in the energy supply, bringing more confidence and energy security to the population. Therefore, this work aims to investigate the technical, environmental, economic and social feasibility of implementing microgrids, considering the possibilities of renewable energy sources, as well as the management and regulatory processes for their operation. Therefore, aiming to achieve the outlined objective, bibliographical research was defined as a work methodology, through the possibility of searching through literature and already published works for theoretical and solid knowledge that will guarantee a better understanding of the topic addressed. Therefore, works such as that of Silveira (2013); Rosa et al (2022); Oliveira (2017); Bitencourt (2022), in addition to others used, were essential for the construction of this work. However, it was concluded that even given the importance of microgrids, as well as their potential, greater technical investment is still necessary, as well as the construction of a regulatory system that predicts and defines strategies and actions for their implementation, thus enabling the expansion of Microgrids and consequently greater efficiency in the production and distribution of electrical energy. |

Além disso, ainda há as vantagens técnicas, já que solucionaria os problemas relacionados às falhas no fornecimento de energia, trazendo mais confiança e segurança energética a população. Diante isso, esse trabalho tem por objetivo investigar a viabilidade técnica, econômica e ambiental da implementação das microrredes, considerando as possibilidades de fontes de energia renovável, bem como os processos de gestão e regulatório para operação dessas. Então, visando o alcance do objetivo traçado, definiu-se como metodologia de trabalho a pesquisa bibliográfica, mediante a possibilidade de buscar por meio da literatura e de trabalhos já publicados conhecimentos teóricos e sólidos que garantirá uma melhor compreensão da temática abordada. Sendo assim, obras como a de Silveira (2013); Rosa et al (2022); Oliveira (2017) ; Bitencourt (2022), além de outros utilizados, foram essenciais para a construção desse trabalho.
