This work aims to analyze the insertion and experiences of black women in the technology market, taking into account the scarce amount of documented studies on the subject, which generates an invisibilization of professionals who work in the area; in addition to the technological work sector that grows and gains space daily in Brazil and in the world. Simultaneously with the demand for skilled employees, but opportunities are not equally distributed to these women. From this theme, I bring the following questions: What is it like to be a Black Woman in Technology? How does the job market receive these professionals? How does the racial marker impact their experiences? What positions do they occupy? The methodology explored uses bibliographic research and case studies, with oral sources – non directive interviews – in the “study up” proposal, where the research is centered on the subjects. In view of this, it is verified in three chapters how the connection between the present and the past between the Black Movements; the Technology market and its relationship with women; and the possibilities of answers to the fundamental questions mentioned, with the reports of professionals who work in technology companies.
