Resumo: Continuous process improvement is a key item in industries today. This work aimed to expose a case study, which using the Kaizen concept, sought to reduce the installation time and increase the update after installation in a beverage filling line responsible for several different types of drinks, being this production line located in a large company in the region of the city of Uberlândia. In this work, the main objectives and concepts that led or improved the process, reduction of waste, reduction of installation times, greater security in the execution of the process, leverage of the execution and without the need for large investments are presented. These improvements were achieved through the application of the Toyota production system concept, in addition to the PDCA tool (Plan verification and action), which was carried out in this work, allowing to perform a critical analysis of the entire process, identifying and offering opportunities for improvement in the SETUP, always follows the results that the actions performed impact on the process.

Este trabalho teve como objetivo a exposição de um estudo de caso, que através da utilização do conceito Kaizen, buscou reduzir o tempo do SETUP e aumentar a eficiência após o SETUP em uma linha de envasamento de bebidas com função de envazar três tipos diferentes de bebidas, sendo essa linha de produção localizada em uma empresa de grande porte na cidade de Uberlândia. Nesse trabalho, são apresentados os principais objetivos e conceitos que levaram o melhoramento do processo, redução dos desperdícios, diminuição dos tempos do SETUP, maior segurança na atuação do processo, alavancagem da produtividade, sem a necessidade de grandes investimentos.
