Resumo: In the last few years, companies from the most different areas have been looking for new knowledge that allows them to create value for their customers with minimal possible losses, whether with time, defective products or processes. In the health care, the hospital laundry sector is no different. Accordingly, as it is considered an extremely important service and contributes directly to the health care of its patients and users, this sector is indispensable for the effective hospital running. Due to this importance of the hospital's laundry sector, it is essential to evaluate its systems and processes. The goal of the present study is to analyze and dimension the steam distribution network in order to obtain quantitative data on losses and the economic diameters, as well to evaluate the steam generation and distribution system of the hospital laundry.

The goal of the present study is to analyze and dimension the steam distribution network in order to obtain quantitative data on losses and the economic diameters, as well to evaluate the steam generation and distribution system of the hospital laundry.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação)Nos últimos anos as empresas das mais distintas áreas, procuram novos conhecimentos que possibilitem a criação de valor para seus clientes com perdas mínimas possíveis, seja com tempo, produtos defeituosos ou processos. Na área da Saúde, no setor de lavanderia hospitalar não é diferente. Por ser considerado um serviço de extrema importância e contribui diretamente para o cuidado com a saúde de seus pacientes e usuários, esse setor é indispensável para o excelente funcionamento do hospital. Diante da importância desempenhada pelo setor de lavanderia do hospital, se torna indispensável avaliar o sistema e seus processos. O objetivo do presente estudo é analisar e dimensionar a rede de distribuição de vapor de modo a obter dados quantitativos das perdas e diâmetros econômicos.
